Full Description

AASHTO T 383-19 method covers the laboratory performance evaluation of asphalt release agents (ARAs).These ARAs are used for coating metal on truck beds, pavers, rollers, slat elevators, and handtools to prevent asphalt binder or hot mix asphalt (HMA) from adhering. The ARAs shouldperform this function without causing degradation (stripping) of the HMA.
