Specifies the traffic control devices to be used to warn, instruct and guide road users in the safe negotiation of work sites on roads, including unsealed roads and footpaths. It is applicable to traffic guidance schemes for road and bridge construction and maintenance sites, and for works associated with other public utilities and services which cause interference or obstruction to the normal use of road by any road user. It also provides guidance for the planning, design, installation and operation of such traffic guidance schemes.
