Full Description

Sets out management procedures for controlling the inspection, testing and subsequent corrective action applicable to fire-precaution features associated with air-handling systems in buildings, to ensure these features are effectively available in case of fire. Provides for four levels of routine maintenance, and includes appendices detailing typical routines for various components at the different levels. A table shows a typical maintenance schedule for monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, two-yearly and five-yearly intervals (this table is also available in wallchart size as AS 1851.6C).
