Full Description

This Standard contains recommendations for the installation of fixed and sliding fifth wheel and turntable assemblies on truck chassis. Unless otherwise stated, the recommendtions cover fifth wheels with both small and large kingpins as referred to in AS D14 and AS D15. The recommendations are intended to be the minimum requirement for vehicles for normal use on average highways. For off-highway use, it may be necessary to use stronger attachments
