Full Description

This specification prescribes safety requirements for thermostats incorporated in domestic heating and cooking appliances and thermostats associated with domestic heating systems, which are intended for connection in direct or alternating current circuits at low or medium voltage. It shall also apply to individual thermostats intended for use in such appliances for which the operating conditions can be accurately defined e.g., water-heater thermostats and oven thermostats.
