1. SCOPE
The material defined by this specification is an NLGI No. 2 grade, low temperature lubricant containing a calcium 12 hydroxy stearate thickener with lubricating oils and necessary rust and oxidation inhibitors. The lubricant operating temperatures range from 46 °C to 137 °C.
