This standard covers conformance tests and requirements for the enclosure integrity of pole-mounted equipment containing apparatus energized in excess of 600 V, typically not accessible to the general public, such as but not limited to the following types of equipment:a) Pole-mounted distribution transformersb) Pole-mounted switchesc) Pole-mounted regulatorsd) Pole-mounted metering equipmente) Pole-mounted reclosers/sectionalizersf) Pole-mounted capacitors

Abstract

Corrigendum Standard - Active.An error has been identified in the 2010 published version of IEEE Std C57.12.31(TM)-2010. The number of cycles included in one of the corrosion tests is not correct. This error needs to be corrected which is a critical requirement of the standard.
