To add a subclause under 2.5 of 802.1D (Support of the Internal Sublayer Service by Specific MAC Procedures) to cover bridge operation with IEEE 802.12 MACs.

Abstract

Amendment Standard - Superseded.This standard defines an architecture for Virtual Bridged LANs, the services provided in Virtual Bridged LANs, and the protocols and algorithms involved in the provision of those services.
