This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant steel in the form of welding wire.

This wire has been used typically as filler metal for gas-tungsten-arc or gas-metal-arc welding of parts fabricated from steels of similar composition requiring joints with good strength and oxidation resistance up to 800 degrees F (427 degrees C), but usage is not limited to such applications.
