This specification has been “CANCELLED” by the Aerospace Materials Division, SAE as of May 2011. By this action, this document will remain listed in the Numerical Section of Aerospace Material Specifications. Users may refer to ASTM D2000 as a replacement specification; however, they are cautioned to evaluate ASTM D2000 for their particular application.

This specification establishes the requirements for fabricated products of vulcanized rubber, synthetic rubber or rubberlike compositions alone or in combination, together with procedures for the inspection of such products.
