Full Description

These requirements c over the blades of attachment plugs and current taps intended to be connected to the conductors of fle xible cords using crimped connections,for use on cord sets and power-supply cords complying with the Standard for Cord Sets and Power-Supply Cords, UL 817, within the limits set forth i n 1.2.1 fortype of blades and 1.3.1 for size of conductors.

A product that contains features, characteristics, components, materials, or systems new or different from those in use when the Standard was developed, and thatinvolves a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, shall be evaluated using the appropriate additional component and end-product requirements as determinednecessary to mai ntain the level of safety for the user of the product as originally anticipated by the intent of this Standard.
